My Split Board

I am excited to announce that I have ordered a split board. My first real experience skiing in the mountains was on a board while in college. Once out of college I realized how expensive it is to buy a ski pass, let alone a half-day pass!– I thank my Dad and Stepmother for buying me a ski pass for Christmas during those 3 years in Colorado.

Now, I have taken to the backcountry. It is a whole new realm of winter enjoyment - I love it. Last year, I tried a telemark setup, had a great time, but I never learned how to ski. This year, the problem is solved. Should be good.

Jenny is a native of the mountains of North Carolina. At eighteen, she realized there was a whole new world outside of Southern Appalachia. Since then, she has been traveling, working with NOLS and other outdoor related jobs. Jenny has first hand knowledge about what gear works and what does not. Her Southern mountain roots are still burning strong. If you get in her way, she will politely give you one chance, then seriously be in trouble.
